The Leonardo Momento Zero Fountain Pen – Aluminia CT (Limited Edition) – Medium combines Leonardo Officina Italiana’s iconic Momento Zero silhouette with the distinctive look and feel of brushed aluminium. Produced entirely in Italy, the Aluminia is crafted from aluminium turned from a solid bar and given a brushed finish with a clear protective treatment that enhances its durability and creates a subtle pearlescent effect. The silver aluminium body is paired with elegant chrome trim, giving the pen a clean, sophisticated and contemporary appearance. The Medium steel nib offers a smooth and versatile writing line, making it an excellent choice for everyday writing, journaling, correspondence and general note-taking. As a limited edition of 525 pieces, the Aluminia CT combines Leonardo’s traditional Italian craftsmanship with a modern metal construction, making it equally appealing as a daily writing instrument and a collectible fountain pen.
Product Information
The Leonardo Momento Zero Aluminia CT features a solid aluminium cap and barrel with a brushed silver finish and chrome trim. The pen uses a secure screw-cap mechanism and can be posted on the barrel for a longer writing configuration. It measures approximately 142 mm when closed and 170 mm when posted, with a diameter of approximately 15 mm. The CT version is fitted with a La Fenice Medium steel nib, providing a balanced writing line that offers more ink presence than Fine while remaining versatile enough for everyday use. Leonardo also offers the Aluminia with other steel nib widths, including Extra Fine, Fine, Broad and Stub 1.1, along with selected flex options.
The Aluminia CT uses a convenient cartridge/converter filling system, with the converter included. The approximate ink capacity is 0.92 ml with a cartridge and 0.97 ml with the converter, allowing users to choose between convenient cartridges and bottled fountain pen ink. The cap and barrel construction gives the pen a distinctive metallic feel while retaining the familiar proportions and ergonomic character of the Momento Zero family
