Limited to 525 pieces, the Aluminia is crafted from solid aluminium and finished with a brushed surface that gives the pen a subtle pearlescent sheen while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance. The lightweight yet durable metal construction provides a distinctive writing experience, while the classic Momento Zero silhouette delivers a comfortable and balanced feel in the hand. The Extra Fine steel nib is ideal for writers who prefer a precise, narrow line, making it particularly suitable for detailed handwriting, annotations, planners, technical notes and everyday writing where greater control is desired. Manufactured entirely in Italy in Leonardo's workshop, the Aluminia CT combines traditional Italian pen craftsmanship with modern material innovation.
Product Information
The Leonardo Momento Zero Aluminia CT features a solid aluminium cap and barrel with a brushed silver finish and a durable colourless surface treatment designed to help protect the metal over time. The CT (Chrome Trim) version is finished with polished chrome accents, creating an elegant contrast against the aluminium body. The pen uses a secure screw-cap mechanism and can be posted on the barrel for a longer writing configuration. The capped length is approximately 142 mm, while the posted length is approximately 170 mm. The pen has a diameter of approximately 15 mm and a total uninked weight of approximately 25 g according to the product specifications.
The Extra Fine steel nib is part of Leonardo's La Fenice nib range and provides a fine, controlled writing line. The Aluminia series is also available with other nib configurations, but this particular version is equipped with the Extra Fine option. The pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system, with an approximate ink capacity of 0.92 ml with a cartridge and 0.97 ml with the converter. The converter is included, allowing users to enjoy a wide choice of bottled fountain pen inks.
